On April 28, Jim Jacobs and I will be leading a two-hour writer’s workshop (1:00-3:00 p.m.) at the Barn on the Carl Sandburg Historical Site at 313 E. Third Street in Galesburg, Illinois, birthplace of poet Carl Sandburg.
Topics will include: decisions that can make or break your novel; how to hook readers in the first five pages and stay out of the rejection pile; a road map to obtaining an agent or publisher; and a Q and A session.
The workshop costs $10 and you can show up and sign up that day.
